mach1mike Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 My Father Was a Wise Man Indeed My father was a wise man indeed He new more about me than me He said son I love you so But theres something you should know Before you leave home He said dont do the crime if you cant do the time And dont call me from jail for bail I said dont worry dad, Im really not that bad As I left out on my own Now by the time I was thirty years old Goin to jail had started getting old Never before would I listen But they said next time prison So I found another way to go I realized there was a place much worse than jail And thats a place they call hell You get there by sinning, But Ive been forgivin Jesus saved my soul Ya see my father in heaven is a wise man indeed And he knows more about me than me He said son I love you so But theres something you should know Before you go out on your own And he said dont do the crime if you cant do the time And no one gets bailed from hell Youve got to stop your sinning and change your way of livin Cuz hell is much worse than jail I guess fathers really do know whats best Copyright 2004 God Favors no Group, Only Religions Do That Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
