I always thought it was too early to get into this stuff, but even on my aging Mac 350mhz G4 the synths were responsive and sounded great. I think it's time. (I've had Gigastudio since it was Gigasampler 1.0 at 800bucks, but that's different) NI's B4 and Pro-52 as well as Plugsound are all now on my shopping list as soon as I decide to get the new 800mhzPowerbook.
