Intheether
...Along the same line as Rabid's screen name question. Some of your sigs. are so clever - yet I can't help but wonder what the heck "my n'nernoo..." stuff means. I do get the "taco party" bit though, dirty bird. :D *
Rim
I couldn't find or think of a good one for a long time until The Beatles came up in a thread. It reminded me of what is now my signature. It's from elementary school. I was friends with a kid who was a huge Beatles fan and I was just starting to discover them and he kept saying it to me. I think I proved to him that I WAS born to be a Beatles fan. :) aka riffing Double Post music: Strip Down http://rimspeed.com http://loadedtheband.com
RABid
Mine changes with my mood. Someday I may change it to point to music. I find those to be the most useful sigs. I like going to sites and listening to the people I converse with here. Robert This post edited for speling. Sir Macca played about 75% of a three hour concert of Beatles music to a sold out house. He joked and visited with the crowd between tunes...played at least one (Getting Better) that had never been performed live before that tour. He played a lot of his solo and Wings' greatest hits as well. Closed with "Sgt. Pepper Reprise/The End". Man, what a show. It was worth the drive from Kansas City to Detroit. I've gotta say, that's about the only show I'd drive that distance to see. Well, maybe a Floyd reunion... Oh yeah, my signature? Changes with the mood. Sometimes in the middle of a post, something will come up. This last one, I was in Marx Brothers mode. "Kiss the duck" refers to Groucho's quiz show, "You Bet Your Life". The announcer was George Fenneman. Each show would have a "secret word". If the contestant said the secret word, a duck would fly down with $100 bill in its, uh, bill. Groucho would constantly razz Fenneman throughout the show. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

Rod S
QED is a real geek thing. Some people after writing up a complicated math (or science) explanation will put QED in the end, saying 'as has been explained above'. Since I've been known to talk out of my ass sometimes, I thought the sig was appropriate. Super 8
Find your soulmate Homer. Find your soulmate... My tagline is basically a philosophy I have on life. The 'Unreasonable Man'. By the way, I've adopted it out of necessity, not by choice. Anyone else ever get the feeling that you are constantly going against the grain? That you are not like the other children??? When I find words like these, they give me hope that I do in fact have a purpose in life. :) Super 8 Hear my stuff here

I had a similar experience when I saw him (10 years ago?) at Giants Stadium in NJ when he was just starting to play Beatles songs live again. It wasn't 75% of the song list, though. :( Funny story. My best friend at the time was so freaking drunk by the time the concert started 'cause we tailgated before the show. After only a few songs, he threw up and I remember watching his puke slowly drip down the concrete steps. The loser ended up going to the car to sleep it off and missed most of the show. After the show, we woke hime up and he was still drunk. Ahhh, good times! :thu: I remember seeing PMC on the Jumbotron and just thinking, this is as close I'll get to seeing the Beatles. Similar thing this year when I finally got to see Michael Jordan play (ball, that is). I did see Beatlemania which surprisingly, was enjoyable. I thought I'd be a purist and not like it but they did a good job. Will have to check out "1964" thats someone else mentioned. aka riffing Double Post music: Strip Down http://rimspeed.com http://loadedtheband.com

fantasticsound
Not a Webster's or Oxford English Dictionary definition, just something I made up. In the vein of, "The Unreasonable Man," I find it rather amazing we can function at all, day after day. Every once in a while, however, everything is crystal clear.. if only for a few moments. If you really want to understand my point, watch the two scenes towards the end of the movie Parenthood that relate life to a rollercoaster. Some of my favorite moments on film.
