Just solved a pesky DIGI 001 problem!

Hello All! From time to time, I have noticed that when using the "bounce to disk" function to create a stereo master aiff file from ProTools LE, I would get a loud audio glitch at the very end... it sounded like ripping velcro strips apart quickly. Drove me nuts, and I would always have to import the master into another program to clean it up. I have learned [from Benny Sanchez at Digidesign.. thanks Benny!] that reverb tails or automation data that extends beyond what PTLE considers the end of the song is the usual cause. AND IT WORKS! After making one song just a little longer by recording a second of silence to allow the reverb tail to fade out -- no glitch. On another tune, I looked at the volume automation in the edit window.. and yep... I had still been pulling a fader down as the song ended while in "touch" mode. A few quick highlights and deletes... and no more glitch. Dennis
