lrossmusic
Go to http://www.songfile.com This is the Harry Fox Agency online. Chances are they handling the licensing for you cover as most U.S. publisher's employ their services. If yours is an independant release of less than (I think) 1,000 copies then click on 'Community license'. If I'm not mistaken a community licemse will cost you $37.50 for the first 500 copies. If Harry Fox is not handling the license then you'll probably need to find the publisher through the cpoyright office and deal with them directly. The current statuatory mechanical rate may presently be around 7.(something) cent per copy which is what you must pay the publisher unless you can negotiate a lower rate. Good luck
