Dak Lander
I've thrown out a resume but it's probably over my head. With my little gigs & teeny tiny home studio I'm sure I don't qualify for what they want. Heck, if it's at the Pechanga Resort & Casino I could walk to work so that would be great. I threw it out here thinking maybe some one else could use it too. Thanks Cereal.. Our Joint "When you come slam bang up against trouble, it never looks half as bad if you face up to it." ikestr
Hey Dark, Is there really such a thing as a 'luxury resort' in Temecula???...Come on!!! Id like to know what 'luxury resort' they're talking about. But seriously, it looks like a great opportunity for someone in the San Diego/Riverside area. I'd be interested but my plate is quite full right now. ikestr ...hertz down low....
Mark V
Do you need to know anything about music to do this job? I once had a quasi-religious experience..then I realised I'd turned up the volume.
miroslav
Originally posted by markvincent: Do you need to know anything about music to do this job?
I doubt it. I've checked out a couple of these type of jobs in the past. Mostly it's a mic and podium, dog and pony show kind of thing. Set up overhead projectors, mutlimedia presentations...the usual hotel A/V stuff. I don't think you will be engineering the next Madonna show. Hey...but I could be wrong...YMMV. miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important."
Dak Lander
OK gang, I'm not sure but I think the job is production manager for the New Resort/Hotel being built by the Pechanga Casino. With their time frame for opening the new facility, it should coincide just about right with the acquisition process for a production manager. Read about it HERE AT THEIR SITE ! Some one down here in So CAl needs to look into it. I'm doing a resume to send but I know all my experience is with SMALL stuff & there are lots of you better qualified guys out there.
