clintvanblanken Posted March 6, 2002 Share Posted March 6, 2002 can anyone recomend a series of cd's or books which really help someone understand what compression and eq will do to a track and also how to know when and how to use it. I'm looking for a program or book that helps to understand these process'. (ie which frequency is causing a problem.......how and when to use multiband comp, etc.) I want to know this so that I can more accurately master my own products and understand the principles around these factors in a mastering environment.
