I'm now 33 and still working a part time day gig and don't want to anymore. I'm a decent guitarist (by NYC standards) and better than decent composer/arranger. I can play most styles pretty well and can write convincingly in most styles of western music. I just want to make a reasonable middle class living at something that I've spent my entire life working on. Will go back and try to fix them when I have the time. I live in Southern California and know quite a few guys who make a decent living doing the bar/cover band gig. Also a lot of dudes make the good cash doing the studio circuit.
