Over at the 3D Realms forums we all joke about DNF too. (To be honest I think 3DR is probably bankrupt or losing it and will never release DNF). The whole Windows demographic is kind of like a cattle line, I mean... "Hey did you hear about the new Windows" -- "Yeah you should get it it's much better' -- "Ok!". Competition is good sometimes because we have choice and can find application software that works for us, that's the main thing. An AMD Athlon64 computer with the 64-bit MS OS, an RME Fireface800 with 64-bit drivers and Sonar 64-bit is available today, and that was my only point. But this new Apple 64-bit OS ought to look real sweet to anybody using Apple... 16 Exabytes! That's more info than all of the Library of Congress ---more data than the entire Internet...
