Blueshift
Hi all, just wondering if Post people could share how you import DAT with Timecode and work with it in Nuendo. I'm importing hours of location sound, all recorded on DAT with Timecode, I just have no idea how to work with this in Nuendo, is it something to do with Broadcast wave? How will the timecode be displayed with each change (this isn't like syncing up a reel to reel with your DAW!) Thanks,

Blueshift
Hi Robman, nothing much in the Nuendo archives (although some people are helping me out at the new forum). But yes, I was thinking of renting a PD-2 for the dump, so where will the timecode be displayed once the audio is in (and how do I hook up the unit so that the timecode gets imported as well??) I tried looking for a manual, but found nothing... there's not much on the internet regarding this!

BP3
use a sync device (emagic unitor.....) that can convert LTC to MTC, have nuendo in MTC sync mode and digitally connect your DAT to nuendo. lather rinse and repeat.
