Mats Nermark
Hi, Boss will show their new Boss GT-8 at the upcoming NAMM show. It features every sound effect and amp model from the GT-6 and GS-10 (which I own and really like) and some new ones. The really big thing with it is that it can give you two virtual signal chains with a different amp/speaker/mic model in each chain. If your japanese is good you can check it out here: http://www.roland.co.jp/FrontScene/index.html Any other rumours and I will be glad to hear them
pbognar
Being a GT-5 owner, I'm following this one closely. I'm sure most people on the forum could give a rat's arse, but the way that that this thing is architected is impressive. Boss/Roland really have to make this a POD Live killer, and even though the features look out of this world, I'm really really hoping that there have been some BIG improvements in the amp models. If the rotary effect, pitch shifting, and wah's sound good too, this could be a Vetta killer too. It even has the ability to switch external amp channels (not new, but new for Boss).
