ryst
A friend of mine let me borrow his copy of Dave Moulton's Golden Ears ear training course for audio. The college he went to offered a class with these cd's. Well, he kept the cd's but lost the booklet that comes with it. I am allowed to borrow these cd's for a little bit but I would like to have a copy of the booklet. Is there anyone out there who has these cd's and the booklet? If so, could I somehow get a copy of it? Just the booklet. I will compensate with sexua........oops.....I mean, money or something. Thanks! www.myspace.com/apocrypha

Thanks!I'll sell you a photocopy for 200$ Or you could buy a full copy from Dave yourself for . . .200$ /jim "...it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. ryst
I think I am being misunderstood. I just want to see what's in the booklet. I am gonna give these cd's back to my friend anyway (he lives in Tenn. I am in ATL) If I like it I will buy it myself. I don't want a burned copy of any music or software or training course. I purchase all of my stuff. Besides if I get a copy of the booklet, I would send it back to him along with the cd's. Anyway, I don't want this to turn into another pirating discussion (I didn't think it would) so Craig, go ahead and delete this if you want. My apologies! www.myspace.com/apocrypha

My apologies!Sorry, I've got too many friends that have asked for copies from me. The booklet is pretty much just the answers for the exercises. If you want I'll email you the first few answer sets to the frequency cd. That should be enough for you to figure out if you like them. /jim "...it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. ryst
soundthinker, Ah, don't worry about it. I realized after I posted this that it probably wasn't the best thing to do and the more I think about it, I realized that although my intentions aren't to steal or pirate anything, I have a feeling that the perception would be that way no matter what I say. I don't want anyone here to have that impression of me. I haven't been thinking clearly lately. www.myspace.com/apocrypha

I've been spending too much time reading SSS Political threads and my trigger is a bit shorter than usual. /jim "...it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. blackfish
yes those cds are great! extended practice really helps you narrow down your perception of frequency bands/octave bands. I found it helped me to cut down on my seek and destroy eq missions. The time based effects cd is pretty cool, as is the steroe field cd. For those of us who have not spent hours with a boomerang or delay module, the time based section shows different delays. Listen to it on headphones and you can start to notice the differences. And although you could probably figure out the delay times needed by math, this provides a quicker route, trained ears. Psuedo-stereo is something I always took as "bad" stereo field. This cd cleared it up for me, and while it might have been apaprent to some, it definitely helped. The phase and polarity stuff is cool too. I'd recommend it Hall Jams....whatever thats worth to you. soundthinker
They're a good (great) starting point. And very useful for brushing up. Combine these with eq'ng music you respect and you've got a pretty decent ear training program. /jim "...it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.
