Mats Olsson.
Very cool: Hammerfall bass player Magnus Rosén have toured in South America many times with his band, but this fall he went to the continent on his own. Magnus held a series of concerts & clinics in Peru, Chile and Bolivia for the benfit of poor people in these countries. He paid for all of his own expenses and the entrance fees was money and/or food, this made it possible to collect more than a ton of food that he personally delivered to people in need. http://w1.161.telia.com/~u16118940/031231/MAGNUS_ROSEN_PERU.JPG The photo is from Peru. http://www.lexam.net/peter/carnut/man.gif What do we want? fantasticsound
It's nice to see Harry Chapin's legacy lives, even if Magnus is unaware of the connection, 2 decades after his death. Harry combined his knowledge of world hunger with his fame years before it became en vogue to care. Until Magnus, I hadn't heard of another musician with such a strong commitment to such causes. Most celebrities think they've done a huge service by speaking up here and there for worthy causes. Few understand how much more they can accomplish from the pedestal of fame. Good for Magnus. It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Neil Bergman Soundclick fntstcsnd
