noou
Hi everybody, i'd like to have one of those interfaces but my first question is "how about latency?" I recently tried a digidesign Mbox and I was really disappointed because at 128 samples it acted like my maya44 pci at 1024 samples! Is it a problem with all usb audio interfaces? i mean: i need it to play live virtual instruments much more than to record so I really need good drivers with very low latency (2ms). Do you own one of them? Can you help me? Thanks! P.S. Please don't tell me is all about my computer: my pc is powerful and well optimized. I can manage 64 samples playing live. look at myspace.com/noou and www.soundclick.com/noou for my music (free downloads too)!
Dylan
I don't own any of these formentioned interfaces, but I'd imagine that you'd want to go with either a Firewire or USB 2.0 interface to avoid any bandwidth issues. Edirol has made a few products that have been nicely reviewed.
