halljams
I am friends with the local AM station's(there is only one) morning DJ up here. Last night he asked me to do an intro spot for the weather. I kept it simple, just acoustic guitars and vocals. I used an NTK and grace pre for vocals and MC 012's for the guitar. I squished it to the point where it was gonna start sounding bad if i went any more and eq'd it pretty bright, or so i thought. This morning when he played it, i thought it sounded a little dull and quiet compared to the rest of the programming. Just didn't jump out like i thought it would. Is there anyone who does AM spots regularly who can share any tips or tricks on this subject? Check out SUPERVIBE
