At the time I used a 1925 Model 12 Winchester with 1 1/4 oz of #8 lead shot. I don't remember the powder charge. In those days lead was still legal.

That was a very nice trap gun though I later went on to a Charles Daly Model 500 side by side bored modified & full. That would also work well for obliterating those pesky flying disks.

Heh, I had the Mahavishnu Orchestra album way back when. One day, when I was out of clay pigeons we used it, along with some other albums for practice.

 

That is why he called it "Birds of Fire" , so you could fire at the bird !

 

I wore out my stereo record of "Birds of Fire" but later I picked up the QUADRAPHONIC version on a throw table for $2-$3
