please visit that site ( www.chitarristi.com ), is a very good one, with an innovative idea: you can post mp3 of you playing, making them audible by everyone will visit the site, and you can listen to other people playing, plus lots of more services..

you can listen to some mp3 played by me on that site by clicking here

Golly gee whiz .. please give our Italian brothers a chance to settle down.

Of course he, er, they're excited and wish to share and probably have NO IDEA what spam is.

They just wish to share the ITALIAN greatness which they have achieved..

I'm sure they've studied for years ands decades and more to achieve the greatness to put their names with Satriani, Malmsteen, Steva Vai..

I wish to hear the greatness of the music and, and be transported to the greatness also.

To be great AND Italian is a greatness I will never know.

But maybe just maybe If I clonk and allow the greatness to wash over me maybe the stink of the porcine proclamation will be washed away like a gone bad pesto sauce that is poured out and well...washed away.. ..

too bad you guitarristi don'ta speaka englishi,...the main problem with french ,german and italian people is that they make their websites in their own language and invite us to come and have a look,...

Gsus,... it is called the world wide web and the western civilisation speaks or reads ENGLISH! NOT ITALIAN

Fan, nu pissar jag taggtråd igen. Jag skulle inte satt på räpan.

i thought we were talking about guitarists.

you want to hear some real european guitar? try bireli lagrene (french), fapy lafertin (french), stochelo and jimmy rosenburg (dutch), gary potter (english), angelo debarre (french), christophe lartilleux (french)... the list goes on.

the thing is, they aren't a bunch of post-shred wankers. they actually play music with some content, and some soul. you really should check it out

might just cure you of the 80's shitty american metal envy.

I may get slammed for encouraging them, but Marcello Zappatore's stuff isn't bad for a 28 year old. If he keeps playing non-commercial, fusion-like music, he'll just keep getting better. And to a fusion enthusiast like me, that is a good thing.

Hey, this one is even more better, so to speak...

Still I think you should have posted this thread to Guitar Forum. They have an appropriately titled thread there for sharing your music with others ("please listen to my mindless shred" or something like that :D;) ).

Btw, I like math-music. Keeps my brain stimulated, so to speak...

I am back.

glad you dig Bireli though... he is the master :thu:

Dear FrankenJazz,

the thing you've kindly listened to is really math sounding, 'cause it's Zappa and 'prog' influenced; if you want to listen to some more jazzy stuff of mine, please try this

thanks to all the other people for having listened to my mp3s!

i like some mathrock too, unfortunately this stuff sounds a little under-developed for the genre. a good start though.

Hariseldon: i did listen all the way through it, the acoustic bit in the end was a nice touch but didn't really compensate for the lack of melody.

FWIW ~ ya know, i'm just speaking the truth 'cuz he asked for it, i usually don't dis on anyone's attempt to create music because it takes balls to post like he did. especially that crap about how italians are better :freak:
