miden
Tame Impala - just got given a heads-up by son (who also put me onto Muse and Arctic Monkeys)...these guys have some really interesting music away from the "lead" singles... Moon Zero Two
Keith Jarrett Rio. In Jazz piano there is Keith and then there is everyone else. I just made it through The Vigil the new Cd from Chick Corea - I don't know - I liked the electric band better - it was good but didn't wow me. MonksDream
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but "Wise Up Ghost" by Elvis Costello and The Roots is the best new album I heard in 2013! Quote Instrumentation is meaningless - a song either stands on its own merit, or it requires bells and whistles to cover its lack of adequacy, much less quality. - kanker

zephonic
The album I have been listening to most lately is Tatiana Mayfield's debut album. Independent release from a Texas jazz singer, love her voice and style. Her music may not be new, but it certainly is fresh! https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/a-portrait-of-ladymay/id548459694 Quote local: Korg Nautilus 61 AT | Yamaha MODX8 away: GigPerformer | 16" MBP M1 Max home: Kawai RX-2 | Korg D1 | Roland Fantom X7

Bill W
This is more about what I happen to be watching rather than listening to, but it is music related. I ended up getting sucked into the Live from Daryl's House series. I really dig what he's doing. Nice vibe, great musicians enjoying themselves, great guests and some great music. I like the positive, uplifting nature of the show. I'd love to be involved in something like that.
