I started a few topics about him over the years, and did not see any forum interest. Cool you appreciate his skill. Quote Why fit in, when you were born to stand out ? PianoMan51
Just to prove the dictum that music changes, but does not improve. I imagine my ancestors centuries ago appreciating this, especially a keyboard player who stands for the gig. [video:youtube]

NewImprov
Really digging this lately. Any idea what Jason Lindner's effects chain is? I'm wondering what he's using to get the glitchy textures. MAJUSCULE
Wish there was a better angle on his pedalboard there Dave. From what I remember from his times here Jason uses a lot of bit crusher in his sound (I remember a yellow one), along with OD (OCD at least once), as well as some modulation. Sounds like there might be some modulation on the delay itself as well. His setup did evolve through the various times I've seen him, however. Might be worth scrolling back through his social media to see if he posted anything around the time of this recording. Strong Donny Hathaway vibes on this one. I know Philip's already all about Jordan Rakei. [video:youtube] Quote Eric Website Gear page

MAJUSCULE
I liked that tune, but I always seem to be drawn in by J3PO's programming moreso than his playing. YMMV. Quote Eric Website Gear page

Docbop
Been listening to a lot of YellowJackets/Russ Ferrante lately. As a new keyboard player I find hearing the keyboards is easy in Yellowjackets compared to others with lots of layers buried in the mix. So here's some recent Yellowjackets live.
