David Emm
A friend sent me this and as a long-term appreciator of Harry Partch, Iannis Xenakis and others, I got a big laugh from it. Best "country" single in a while. Tom Williams
Probably due to Firefox spying on me, the video just showed up on my TV's Youtube app. I thought the preface -- "D'ya want me to do that song about the economic factors leading to the collapse of the Weimar Republic?" -- was pretty fun even before it got going. Having a couple of years of college music in my past, the song itself was priceless! Now it has me wondering -- has Bela Fleck ever tried a tone row? 1 Quote -Tom Williams {First Name} {at} AirNetworking {dot} com PC4-7, PX-5S, AX-Edge, PC361
marino
Hahahahahaha! Thank you... a good laugh at the end of a hard day. I laughed especially at the thought of the whole situation: The son of an academic avant-garde composer, becoming a country musician. I had never heard of Merle Hazard; up there with the best of Victor Borge and P.D.Q. Bach. Thanks again.
