felis
https://www.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/x-stream/ If you're already in Steinberg's loop, just sign in, download, and activate. It runs in Halion, or the free Halion Sonic: https://www.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/halion/sonic/ If you're not signed with Steinberg, you've got to jump through some hoops. Not really my thing - sample mangling/spectral manipulation, and smearing, but it can come up with unique sounds pretty easily. Hard to beat free too. If you jump into the free Sonic program, they've got some other content that will run in it too: https://www.steinberg.net/stories/free-vst/
David Emm
Tempting, but it also looks dangerously seductive. I wouldn't want to fall into a whole day spent fretting over a spectral slice and still not liking it at 7 pm. I hope people won't think ill of me for being happy just panning Memorymoog pads left & right and running it all through a mega reverb until the room spins. 1 Quote "Well, the 60s were fun, but now I'm payin' for it." ~ Stan Lee, "Ant-Man and the Wasp"
