SSounds
Hi I'm new to this forum so I don't know if I'm posting in the right location. I remember in an issue of EQ or Keyboard a few months ago that Craig Anderton posted how to use a MIDI Guitar Synth like the Roland G series to control Reason. I think it said how to get each string on the guitar to control a different instrument in Reason. I thought that Reason could only receive from one Midi Channel at a time. Could you explain how to do this or let me know the issue it was in so that I can order it? I'm getting ready to buy a Roland GI20 so this would help me out a lot. Thanks. michael saulnier
Welcome. Craig's not ignoring you... he's recovering from the effects of Jeanne... he lives in FL, right in the path of the big blow... he's been reported as OK... but not able to access the forums for a while. You may need to "bump" this up a few times until you see he's returned. I don't think they have much in the way of power right now down there! guitplayer I'm still "guitplayer"! Check out my music if you like... http://www.michaelsaulnier.com

Anderton
Actually it was Jerry McPherson and he goes into detail on how to use MIDI guitar with Reason. You can check it out online, with additional material that didn't fit into the mag (the director's cut, I guess ) at http://www.eqmag.com/archive/0703/0703_Features1.htm Craig Anderton Educational site: http://www.craiganderton.org Music: http://www.youtube.com/thecraiganderton Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/craig_anderton
