davinwv
UA continues to make its versions of plugins that we have plenty of: https://www.uaudio.com/uad-plugins/luna-custom/electra-88-vintage-keyboard-studio.html That being said, I demoed Ravel & Waterfall during the native plugin launch sale and ended up buying them both! SteveNathan
Who makes it for them?
Dockeys
We’re pretty spoilt for Rhodes these days. What with Rhodes themselves coming out with their version, I think you need to have a unique angle to your Rhodes nowadays to get people to buy it. Demos on this seem to focus on soundscapes rather than pure Rhodes. EP88 is still my go to. Don’t see any reason to get another. Quote Yamaha MODX8, Legend Live. davinwv
@Dockeys - I didn't love the V8 Pro when I demoed it, and, like you, really like the EP88 for recording. @SteveNathan - I'm not sure if UA outsources / white-labels its instrument plugins or not. Dockeys
Just now, davinwv said: @Dockeys - I didn't love the V8 Pro when I demoed it, and, like you, really like the EP88 for recording. @SteveNathan - I'm not sure if UA outsources / white-labels its instrument plugins or not. Same here, I downloaded the V8 and didn’t like it. Weird, I thought I’d take to it straight away. I even preferred the Rhodes in Pianoteq….shock horror! Still V8 is infinitely tweakable so if you’re into that it’s probably worth its weight in gold. Quote Yamaha MODX8, Legend Live.
ElmerJFudd
Nice add for the subscribers. They build up their offerings and it could be the one subscription you need or even want. Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
