digitalboy
Hi There, I'm trying to work out if it is possible in LAP 4.7 to bounce an audio instrument to disk. ie. record the track first as MIDI and then bounce the result to an audiofile. The manual is not very clear about this and i'm not even sure if it's possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Danny M
It is absolutely possible. (I do it all the time.) Once you've gotten that instrument to turn the MIDI data into sample words, it's just the same as any other data in the audio engine. You should, of course, take care to direct the output of that audio instrument object to a bouncable output buss. -Danny Grace, Peace, V, and Hz, Danny
captain54
works very well with a motu 828..... Select and highlight the audio instrument object Open "environment" to the mixer window all the way to the right are the master faders.... select the one that corresponds to your output bus... (output 1-2, 3-4, etc...) click "bounce" and in the bounce window select 16 0r 24 bit bounce and where you want the master file directed... hope that helps
