UnderGroundGr
Since last month I started to play with my K5000W and I realised that the piano sound is very good! I had a K5000S in the past and it had the addictive banks and not the sample based so the acoustic sounds were not as good as K5000W. 1 Quote Kurzweil K2661 + full options,iMac 27",Mac book white,Apogee Element 24 + Duet,Genelec 8030A,Strymon Lex + Flint,Hohner Pianet T,Radial Key-Largo,Kawai K5000W,Moog Minitaur,Yamaha Reface YC + CP, iPad 9th Gen,Arturia Beatstep + V Collection 9,Osmose https://antonisadelfidis.bandcamp.com
ElmerJFudd
Those were the days when Kawai was interested in making synths. 1 Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
DJkeys
Best synth keybed ever, TP/8S with textured sharps. ElmerJFudd
Would love to see Kawai cut a deal with Kurzweil for use of actions. PC4 and SP7 models with any of the RH, RM or GF actions. Highly desirable. Kawai made great feeling semi weight synth actions too. All the way down to the K1. 1 Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
David Emm
I had a K1 and greatly enjoyed it, even if it was filterless and a bit shrill. I'm keeping track of this guy, hoping for an M1 Mac version. He created a very nice K1, so his K4 will almost surely tick all of the right boxes. That was a great synth with release velocity, but IIRC, its CPU was underpowered, so it struggled to keep with up rapid playing. I had a K5, but I missed out on the much better 5000 synths. I'm a Kawai fan who'd jump on a modern synth from them. So it goes. https://www.nilsschneider.de/wp/category/private-programming/kawaik1emulation/kawai-k4-emulation/ 2 Quote "Well, the 60s were fun, but now I'm payin' for it." ~ Stan Lee, "Ant-Man and the Wasp"

Not 2 and definately not one. Of all the bits that i not own is only the little nobby box. To alter the module and its tone would be the bobby sox. 1
