W.H.Auden0 Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 We all know that RAM, or random access memory, is important for our computers. But did you know that it can also affect your internet speed? The amount of RAM a computer or tablet has can significantly affect internet speed. The more RAM a computer has, the lightning-fast it will appear because it can quickly switch between functions and programmes. Unless you have a gamer in the house who needs to support a complex graphics card, anything over 2 MB will work for most users. Having more RAM will allow your computer to store more data, which means it can access that data more quickly. Of course, other factors can affect your internet speed, like your internet service provider, the type of connection you have, and the number of devices you use. But upgrading your RAM is a great place to start if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to boost your internet speed. Quote
lesmisaceventura Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Agree. It helps the computer to store more data and access it quickly. This means that it can more quickly load webpages, process requests, and run multiple processes at once. This can result in faster overall internet browsing speeds. Quote
