Radagast Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 The J7 is no longer on Dexibell’s site. The organ page only has the Classico. The new S10L might serve as a replacement, but it’s still not available. Quote
ElmerJFudd Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 They’ve moved it to Legacy products. I guess they couldn’t carve out a slice of the small pie Hammond, Nord, Roland, Yamaha, Korg, MAG, Crumar are fighting over - organs centric cover it all boards. https://www.dexibell.com/product-category/legacy-en/?lang=en Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-560
Delaware Dave Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 And to think that I considered buying it as my PC3 replacement, at least until I auditioned it.... Not sorry I passed on it. They should offer a kit of replacement caps to make the sliders look like drawbars, then the only real loss from an organ perspective would be the waterfall-shaped keys, but not everyone finds that essential, and I didn't like their particular implementation anyway, another too-heavily sprung version of the TP/8O. Hopefully the S10L keys feel better, despite the altered shape. The pitch/mod wheels, extra patch recall buttons, what seem like assignable outs (hopefully making it easy to add a Vent if desired), extra sample memory, additional front panel controls, and extra pedal input are all nice improvements. Quote Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)

Psychologically, at least, it would be nice if they could get the street down to $2999, but what with global inflation, I won't be optimistic. In that sense, it's good that you can still even get the J7 for $2500, because that's been its price for a good while, while other boards have gotten pricier.
