Caevan O'Shite Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 A question for MPN Administrators and Moderators- Is there a way to delete ones posts, such as accidental double posts, and the like? 2 Quote Ask yourself- What Would Ren and Stimpy Do? ~ Caevan James-Michael Miller-O'Shite ~ _ ___ _ Leprechaun, Esquire _ ___ _
Ivan May Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Just report a thread. You’ll be glad you did. 2 Quote
Larryz Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 It would be nice to have a delete option by using the edit drop down 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner. This would come in handy if we wanted to delete our own post, or our own new thread topic, that we posted, double posted, etc., in error. 😎 1 Quote Take care, Larryz

I'm asking about one being able to dele their own post, such as an accidental double-post or for any other reason. I want to be able to delete my own post. 3 Quote Ask yourself- What Would Ren and Stimpy Do? ~ Caevan James-Michael Miller-O'Shite ~ _ ___ _ Leprechaun, Esquire _ ___ _
Dave Bryce Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Sorry about taking so long to see this… The option does exist. I just turned it on. Thanks for pointing it out. 😎 There is a time limit on editing in general, though. That’s set to 12 hours, which should be enough time to delete accidental doubles, catch typos or grammatical mistakes, rethink a post, etc. ‘ ’ I do think a limit is a good idea because if folks could go back and edit their posts after a long period of time, any subsequent posts might not make sense any more. If you need anything done to one of your posts after that, hit me up. Always glad to try and help. dB 3 Quote ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

Yeah, but you’re not only an admin - you’re the reason MPN exists in the first place…so you have more than 12 hours to edit. 😊 dB 2 Quote ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
