Jeff Leites Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Apparently this has been on YouTube for a while, but I just came across it. My Web Site - Tunes - Pictures - Guitar Projects - Native American Style Flute Projects - Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins My Eclectic YouTube Channel
BMD Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Interesting video. I wish he'd talked more about the music, maybe broken down the tracks or something. Someone needs to tell that guy that even if it's morning where he is, it isn't actually morning everywhere else. The earth is a revolving oblate spheroid. Also, why is he sitting on his toilet? Has his wife banished him? Some songs I've written - https://www.soundclick.com/randomguymarkl
Anderton Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...the band that refuses to die... I've actually started remastering the three albums and the single. It's sort of a hobby but I hope to finish it up at some point. The single is really rare...a cover of Thunderclap Newman's "Something in the Air," and one of our songs that always went over well live, "Musical Man." I surprised he didn't mention the first album, that's the one most firmly rooted in peoples' minds of that era. Watch it again from about 2:28 - 3:45. He does talk about it and says he lost it. I, of course, have all 3 on vinyl and CD 😁 I must have been away at school when the single came out. Interestingly, being away at school, I didn't know about the 3rd LP either, but to my surprise I found it in a record shop in Ft. Lauderdale and snapped it up there. I didn't know about the single until a few years ago when I found it on YouTube. So I was able to get it there as well as the 12th Brigade from 3 Part Inventions. Anderton Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Sorry, yes, he mentioned it but didn't go into it at all...understandable. 3-Part Inventions just surfaced out of nowhere, it was a shock even to me. The remastered stuff is sounding pretty good, actually. I'm not trying to tart it up, just make it sound more like it did in the studio and live.
