LarsHarner2 Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Hello, I was thinking of getting Total Studio Max 3.5 as it is on sale for $250 and I have $55 in credits with them- I haven't used their products in a decade but was thinking of getting backinto them. Has anyone had a problem with their software on a M1 based Mac? I read it would use Rosetta to help with any compatibility issues. Thanks in advance Quote
Adam Burgess Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I got it last year and is good. Paid around $500USD. The installation is a [REALLY BAD] pain, but working fine on an M1 Mac mini and a MacBook Air once done! The BX-3 is good enough for me. Syntronik is useful, for sure. The MODO Bass is great. Haven't really had to use the drum module. SampleTank is fine. 1 Quote
KuruPrionz Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 IK is slowly porting software to compatibility. SampleTank works, and even the modules it contains seem to work although I doubt all of them have had the code updated. That's good, I wanted to use Miroslav Philharmonik 2 and I can. Syntronik 2 works, Syntronik does not. MODO Drum works fine, I really like it. It could be a mixed back in terms of compatibility. Maybe contact IK Support and ask them? Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
