Could a B3 owner measure up for me please? Need the vertical distance between the tops of the white keys.

Thanks!😘

From the top of the white keys on the lower manual to the top of the white keys on the upper manual, my trusty tape measure says 2 1/2 inches.

Thanks Mate! Terrifically similar to the one other reading I received from a FB group... 2 9/16"

The closest I can get with 2 clones is about 4"

Please let me know how you eventually resolve this. I’m considering buying a dual manual keyboard, but not for organ sounds…I just like them from an ergonomic perspective.

"For instance" is not proof.

Zeronyne... what dual manual keyboard - not for organ - are you considering? Pretty much all dual manual boards out there - that I can think of - are organ based.

Just curious...

Right... still curious. A two manual controller would be interesting...

Not currently available, but...

the Vox Continental is 3.39" high, so a stack of those would get you down to that. Less if you could remove the top knobs on the one you're using as the lower, effectively making it less than 3.39" high. As a bonus, the keys feel great.

Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)

Orla JamKey? That's pretty wild. Anybody know the story with this?

When it first was introduced, $2500. 57 pounds, no support, no parts, no longer available new, company may have gone belly up, not sure.  Also, this was the initial prototype, the actual unit was E to E, not F to F on lower keybed.  Great idea, terrible execution.  Can occasionally be found used on places like reverb.com
