Mills Dude
Ahh, the old double-double bass. Does gator make a gig bag for that? Or maybe a pelican case so I can bring it on a plane 😜 1 Quote Mills Dude -- Lefty Hack

Somebody, somewhere, probably rigged up a bunch of levers and such to foot pedals to fret the notes. Maybe just lay it on it's side and stand behind it where you can reach both areas? Or, I have a Sharper Image Saxxy, if you put it in the Tuba setting and take it down an octave, then hum really low, you can watch 18" speakers go slowly back and forth. Your dog may also run out of the room and cower in the far corner of the yard. Been there, done that. 1 Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is. ProfD
Now, that's a bass.😁 No gear schlep back and forth to gigs. Stationary like an acoustic piano. 😎 1 Quote PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E. Required two setups, no time for schlep between room changes. Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-

That's actually a legit orchestral instrument, and if you'll note the player's left hand on a system of levers in that photo, that's what does that. 1 hour ago, Mills Dude said: Didn't Jaco play one of these?
