MrVegas
Looking for advice on make and model to control Leslie speed using a footswitch with Fantom 06. I saw a nice heavy duty switch on Amazon called the Korg PS-1 single momentary switch, but I heard that it might not be the right polarity for the Roland. AnotherScott
If it's a toggle function (in this case, tap-and-release to change speed, do it again to change it back), it shouldn't matter. Even if the pedal is wired "opposite," the audible result would be the same. But it still might be better to get one wired in the Roland way in case you ever want to use the pedal for some other function where it would matter. For switch pedals (not continuous or half-damper ones), Yamaha and Roland are the same. Lots of 3rd-party pedals have switches so that can work either way. And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)
RABid
The last Korg pedal I bought, a few years ago, had a switch on the back to reverse polarity. Quote This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page
