FB webpage won't load any new stories again today. Where are all my friends' posts about all their gigs, kids and selfies?

After some research it appears the problem I'm having is on my PC, which I run Chrome. I rarely use FB app on iPad but I just did and it works fine.

 

What's is up with this: I also noticed that a video I posted a few days ago syncs fine on iPad app, yet when I play on Chrome on PC it is off by a little off. Anyone?

My Facebook has been from the Twilight Zone since yesterday.

Went into my group for classifieds and events in my county and only the posts from eight years ago showed up.  Refreshed, restarted, still same thing.  It straightened out yesterday afternoon, but then nothing would load other places on Facebook.

Also, I would click another link from my bookmarks and instead of going where it was supposed to go, it would go to Facebook.  When I backed out and looked at my bookmarks, the favicon for the site was Facebook.  I would click on the link again and this time everything would be fine and the favicon would revert back to what it was supposed to be.

Also, I have BitDefender A.V. and occasionally it would tell me Facebook was not safe since it was not "https".

I have the latest Chrome browser on a Dell P.C. running Windows 10.

I had trouble with FB yesterday and if appears they have changed on their side.   I tested FB with another browser and all was working so I knew it was FB that changed.    I made some adjustments to my security software and things are working again.

Facebook stopped working on Chrome. After some research I tried Firefox. Not only did FB work it also played a video clip I uploaded a few days ago perfectly in sync. When I uploaded it to FB on Chrome it was not in sync and I reluctantly lived with it. Now I get to give Chrome a big razz-bury and ditch it for Firefox for now.
