Inline skates question

Recommended Posts

I have a pair, that are scuffed up and such and the wheels arent' very secure (I believe I stripped some bolts or something and some wheels are held in with just screws/bolts...) - well, I'd like to get a new pair but my question is:

do they make inline skates where you can easily remove the whole wheelset-chassis? SO that you can use them as a shoe? I know there are "shoe skates" with the flip-out small wheels, but those aren't what I'm looking for. The majority of stores I go to don't allow people in with skates, and I never liked having to backpack a pair of shoes while skating.

Phait, if you take a 12 or 11.5, I have a a pair of rollerblade lightnings that are damn near unused. $40.00 plus shgipping. I bought a pair of ultra wheels with gel inserts, and they are also un used, but I have ambitions to use them one day.. :)
