A Fast Snack that's Good for You

Sardines are incredibly nutritious, and popping open a tin and dumping the contents into a small bowl is about as fast a prep time as is possible.

 

But here's the tip: Get the sardines that are packed in oil, but don't have any other things added, like olives or whatever. Mix in 1/2  to 1 teaspoon of Grey Poupon mustard with the sardines. It elevates the taste, and makes it more interesting.

Not sure if I'm vitamin E deficient enough to eat them right out of the can, but I like them on everything else - Caesar salad, pizza, mashed into a paste for the basis of a puttanesca sauce...
