cphollis
I saw this unusual looking hammond for sale nearby, but didn't know what I was looking at. Looks to be half mechanical Hammond, half transistor hammond. No leslie nearby. Owner wants it gone, I have a truck. Thoughts? 1 Quote Life is too short to be playing bad music. skipeb3
Well... it's not gonna sound - or play - like a B. No waterfall keys, for ex. It'll get some sounds that are close to a B, but... If you want to hear what this type of Hammond sounds like - in the hands of someone who really knows what they're doing, do a YouTube search for Mike Reed. He plays a Hammond Grandee - similar organ - and he does it very well.

The Real MC
Hammond Concorde. No tonewheels. All solid state with custom LSI components that are unobtanium. Hammond techs will not work on them. Pass...

bjosko
Not to bad as a home organ, if in working order ( and that might bee the challenge). I guess it is filled with hard to find and fix electronic cards. Sounds alot better than any typical european home organ from the late 70’s.
