GovernorSilver
Stumbled on Tony MacAlpine's interview with Rick Beato. Didn't know much about Tony, other than seeing his name associated with Shrapnel records as a guitar shredder, or playing keyboards for other guitar shredders. Tony mentioned playing with Dennis Chambers and Bunny Brunel, so I found this video of their jazz fusion band CAB playing with Patrice Rushen on keys, with Virgil Donati taking Chambers' spot on the drums. hardware
Nice jams. Wish PRush used a real Rhodes though. The panned EPiano on samples always dogs out on upper registers. Great solo none the less. GovernorSilver
Maybe Musicians Institute forgot to backline a Rhodes for PRush, lol. I wonder if CAB ever got around to trying out dual keyboardist arrangements, since MacAlpine is no slouch on the keys, even accounting for MacAlpine's preference to stick to through-composed material when playing keys. Here, Beato had him demonstrate his skills. [video:youtube]
