...and had not heard of a "gentleman's sweep" before.

That was hilarious.🤣

Regardless of who represents the East, the Dubs will win the championship. Too much firepower especially when they're firing on all cylinders. 😎

I thought this before the series began, and I really think it now: the Warriors are in some trouble. The Celtics seem to hustle more, perhaps a combination of determination, grit, or more athleticism. Hopefully Curry isn't too banged up.

I'm a bit surprised the Celtics are up 2-1 with home court advantage.

I really thought the Warriors would win this series 4-2.

Now, I'm wondering if the NBA has mandated this Finals go 7 games with the Warriors winning at home. 😁😎

I’m not surprised… The Celtics are much larger and more physical than the Warriors. They are just taking control.

I'm rooting for GSW...but the Celtics are clearly the younger, bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic, and deeper team.  If the Warriors win this game and go back to California tied 2-2, it will be strictly guts, IQ, championship experience...and luck

Have been wondering this myself.

No denying the greatness of Steph throwing down 43 with a bum wheel. Entertaining game. It has been difficult for me to understand how so many have already crowned Boston as a foregone conclusion, but recency bias and a plethora of East Coast journalists is undoubtedly part of the sway (I've noticed the by-lines of the last six articles I've read since G4 ended...and how the narrative is framed that my Dubs "stole" the game, and how heroic Boston played into the face of unfair privilege granted to GS and such).

To me this whole series has seemed like the back and forth one would expect from the teams, having seen them fight through their playoff series against very-worthy competition. There is no way either team was going to blow the doors off the other, nor any way either team was going to wilt in the face of losing a game. It sometimes seems today's sports media has to go hot take just for the sake of attention.

But no matter which side prevails, has been a great back and forth so far.

"Unfair privilege"? What's weird is that although there were bad calls on either side, it seemed like GS got fouled a lot without calls. But whatever. Hard-fought game.

Have you not studied NBA history? It is known that when you play in The Boston Garden the officials always favor the Celtics.  This has been going on for half a century!

The articles, my friends. What I am saying is I am reading too much that canot simply grant that in a series w two good teams, one of them is going to lose each night.

I just watched the replay of the 2nd half of last night's game. The Celtics lost because Steph got really hot (love watching that guy!) and the Celtics panicked in the last five minutes and could not make their long shots.  They should have continued to muscle into the lane.  You are not going to beat the Warriors in a three point shooting contest.  Game 5 will be very interesting.

Have you not read the conversation? The post I was replying to said that the "unfair privilege" was with the Warriors.

Agreed. It makes no sense to me that teams literally pass up higher percentage scoring opportunities in favor of jacking up 3s.😎

Whoomp! There it is!

Dubs close it out - Champions again!

Steph Finals MVP!

We beat a very fine Boston team, who will be a title contender for several more years.

Champs again!

Congrats, Tim!

The Warriors finished with a dominant performance, and they added to their legacy by winning another championship without Kevin Durant.

The Celtics had a strong postseason, nonetheless. I agree they will be contenders for years to come.

Warriors beat Celtics 103-90 to win 4th NBA title in 8 years

Best,

This was probably the most impressive championship win for the Warriors, coming back from all those injuries. Curry deserves the Finals MVP. And Wiggins looked great.

Well.....if you're Steph, jacking up 3's IS your higher percentage scoring opportunity....everyone shooting from half court is kind of where the NBA is headed anyway, which is why, for myself at least, it's just not as entertaining. It's like they're playing the All Star game (30 footers, minimal "D") every freaking night. Kind of like how MLB is devolving into "It's either a home run or a walk".....ahhh......metrics.......
