Paul Harrison Posted May 16, 2021 Share Posted May 16, 2021 I've seen several versions of the "Allman Brothers changes" for Stormy Monday (following Bobby "Blue" Bland's version), a 12-bar blues variation, which I'm hearing basically like this, but how would you guys with sharper ears label the V chord tweak in bars 9-10 (often written as Am7/D | Cm7/Eb)? G9 | C9 | G9 Ab9 | G9 C9 | C9 | G7 Am7 | Bm7 Bbm7 D11 | Eb13 | G9 C9 | G9 D7#5 (Gregg Allman does a tasteful Hammond solo at 5:12 in this classic performance.)
