Pascalis
Hi to everyone! I have a question about the keyboard sound of the song Altitudes by Jason Becker. I understand that there are two sounds (1 pad type and 1 melody type) Are there any patches at the synths of Cubase 10 that are similar to the song? Can someone help me? Thank you in advance! Dr88s
I listened to the first 1:45 before the shredding made me turn it off. 20 year old me would have adored that track but I guess musical tastes change⦠I only heard one pad which is a heavily layered pad that is very similar to the pad in Pink Floyd"s Shine On You Crazy Diamond. At least one of the layers is pitched up a minor third. Quote Nord Stage 2 Compact, Yamaha MODX8
Pascalis
Thank you for the reply! Yes, I understand. Not everyone can listen to this type of music. It is mainly for the guitarists and for practice. I will search at cubase synths to see if I can find any similar.
Iconoclast
I would think that analog string patch would be in just about every set of standard presets from every poly synth. Later in the song there's a kind of piano thing but it's layered with something else difficult to pick out in the mix. Sounds vaguely FM ish? Quote You want me to start this song too slow or too fast? Forte7, Nord Stage 3, XK3c, OB-6, Arturia Collection, Mainstage, MotionSound KBR3D.
