Lee Flier
AGGGHHHH!!! I've had a big programming project to finish up and started at like 9 this morning... and other than to eat, I haven't really gotten up from the computer since (it's now 1 AM). BLAH. Yesterday was about the same. Good thing my forum buds were here to break up the monotony. And good thing work usually isn't like this! Phew! I'm going to bed!! ani
Good night Lee, do some Yoga and then fade away in slumber. You've earned it; 16 hours is tough.

pigknuckles
Sweet dreams to you Lee. Hopefully you will have a few easier days ahead. I just did a 16 hour day myself on Sunday. The client was great and I was really into the music, but ultimately had to stop at 16 hours as I was losing my focus (imagine that?) The occasional 16 hour day is OK but multiple 14 to 16 hour days in a row really wear me down. Why is it that people in this biz just expect you to work such hours? They wouldn't even consider playing a gig for 16 straight hours, but think nothing of working in the studio for that length of time. Despite the long hours, I'm quite happy to have the work. Sleep can be wonderful too.

Wewus432
What if......we COULD control Lee's dreams, and turn her into our Drum Machine slave? I sense that she's still asleep. I will attempt to enter her dream, and insert the image of a Roland DR5. When she awakes she will hear the beats in her head, and go out and buy her own drum machine. And I do need new glasses actually. And by the way, I do own a Roland drum machine from the 80's. I've kept it for sentimental value, it was given to me by an old drummer boyfriend. He was about to go on the road and he wrapped it up with a card that said "For those lonely nights."
