RABid
Front page of the Sunday edition of the Lexington Herald Leader ran a story of a plan for flood protection for Martin, Kentucky. The government is about to spend 97 million dollars to tear down the town, level a mountain and use the material to raise Martin out of the flood plain, then build the town back in the same location. The tax value of the entire town is 10 million. You have to wonder who is going to get those contracts. Story here. Robert This post edited for speling.
