TommyRude
Hey everyone... feeling thankful that my wife and I are healthy, and that our families and friends are healthy as well. Was reflecting on this over the past few days, we're also very thankful for all the folks that have been on the front lines, the health care workers, grocery store and sanitation workers, truck drivers, many many more - all these folks have put themselves in harms way, over and over again for the past 9 months, to help us all navigate through this terrible crisis. I was thinking (and this has probably already been brought up elsewhere), that as we make it through to the other side, seems there should be a national holiday established to thank all these folks, and pay tribute to all these heroes as well as the brave souls that made the ultimate sacrifice. They will be remembered for generations to come. KuruPrionz
It is an outstanding idea. Not sure how to make it happen but We The People could simply chose a day and create a celebration of the courage and sacrifice in times of trouble. It's a matter of spreading the word (which you have started here) and growing it. Zero need for it to be "official" as long as it has meaning. Thanks, Kuru Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
