tech for Speakeasy Vintage Music gear?

Recommended Posts

I have a Speakeasy preamp designed for Motion Sound that only has a 1/4" out, has a hole cut out for 147/122 but no amphenol connector (or components needed to power one). Would like to convert to a 122 model.

Is there a tech that specializes in Speakeasy (assuming that Ted Thompson is out of the business)? Or should I just contact the local Hammond tech to do it with the schematics available on line? Any good advice and experience appreciated, thanks. :)

I cant recall if there's an additional transformer needed for tremolo control when using a 122. If so maybe this part needs to be added along with the connector. Otherwise I believe it's just 5 wires/pins inserted into the connector and the other ends soldered to the appropriate points.
