pinkfloydcramer
I have a Speakeasy preamp designed for Motion Sound that only has a 1/4" out, has a hole cut out for 147/122 but no amphenol connector (or components needed to power one). Would like to convert to a 122 model. Is there a tech that specializes in Speakeasy (assuming that Ted Thompson is out of the business)? Or should I just contact the local Hammond tech to do it with the schematics available on line? Any good advice and experience appreciated, thanks. Outkaster
Any tech can really help with that. Quote "Danny, ci manchi a tutti. La E-Street Band non e' la stessa senza di te. Riposa in pace, fratello" noblevibes.com
Doerfler
agree with Jason, and Ted has been "out of the business" for many years now also.
Markyboard
This link may be of interest and provides additional links to some of the SE schematics. You might want to point your tech to these. I agree any tech should be able to handle this.
pinkfloydcramer
There's also the matter of the local tech being very expensive. But I will reach out to him. Thanks for the link Markyboard! And to all who replied.
Doerfler
he might not be any more or less expensive than anyone else for this project, who knows?

Otherwise I believe it's just 5 wires/pins inserted into the connector and the other ends soldered to the appropriate points.
