AnotherScott
[video:youtube] At 1:30, you can see that he has two boards inside his shell (plus a MicroKorg above)... the bottom is a Nord Stage of some sort, but I'm not sure what the top board is. It seems to be a 7x-key board with what appears to be a low E, and with its drawbar controls close to center. For another clue, you can see him operate controls at around 2:20. What do you think this is? Quote Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)
Stokely
Huh, no clue. I did a bit of googling (probably due to listening to a sherlock holmes audiobook during my lunch walk!) but the "usual suspects" were coming up and that doesn't look like any of them. Black/dark, 73 keys, draw bars/fader, no big wheel or screen that's obvious...not sure.
Kurt W
Nord Electro 3HP?
RichieP_MechE
Watching this video from the same performance ( ), it appears to be a Nord Electro 2 73 painted black (note position of the red button)
Sam Mullins
Nord Electro 3HP? Definitely a Nord Electro 73 key version of some vintage. You can see the draw buttons. Long time LSD fan (Bridget is from our little college town and did music projects at the youth center that my brother runs). I was glad when they added Akie on keys. He is also a helluva lead singer in his own right. One sad note for those haven't heard: "Live from Here" has been cancelled by American Public Media ...financial hardships because of the pandemic. AnotherScott
I had been thinking an older Electro but it looks like it's going down to a low E rather than a low F... though such mods do exist. And I wouldn't put anything past anyone who painted their Nord black. ;-) p.s. -- it sounds good. I wonder if it's native, or going through a Leslie/Vent, or driving a VST... analogika
Stage 2 EX at the bottom, Electro 1 or 2 (they're the same hardware, just a firmware upgrade) at the top.
