FormerOceanwaySlave Posted June 11, 2004 Share Posted June 11, 2004 First the bad news, I think that the likelyhood of your being allowed to import a Trabi into the US for road use are about the same as those that George W. Bush will change his name to Yusef Islam and declare Dick Cheney a heretic. There is NO way that a Trabi could pass the safety laws of the US. The only reason they are tolerated here is because they are grandfathered in. They are loud, slow, vibrate like crazy, they are not however as stinky as Lada's.
