Moog Subharmonicon Synth

Recommended Posts

Moog Music"s marketing folks sent me this release and I thought it would be of interest here. It"s their latest synth in the stackable Mother32 form factor. Looks like it"s capable of generative music and polyrhythms. The press release says it"s influenced by two early 20th century electronic instruments: the Trautonium and the Rhythmicon, the latter of which was developed by Leon Theremin. The video they have up so far is a demo of using it alongside the DFAM and Mother32 synths. I've attached a PDF of the release because it has a lot of good information in it, and I will most likely get my hands on a unit soon to report on here at MPN.
