ITGITC
HERE IS A LINK... to my favorite web cam at Wrightsville Beach, NC. The video is in real time (or close). But the audio??? I don't THINK it's a recording or an audio sample looping, but when the Beach Patrol passes in a truck, I can't hear the truck. Also, the waves don't seem to sync with the audio. I dunno. I wouldn't think that anyone would go to the trouble to use a recording of the surf in place of the real thing... but weirder things have happened. I'm going to connect to it when I know there's a thunderstorm at the beach. Perhaps I can hear the thunder. However, I suspect the surf will drown it out too. What do you think? Cool web cam though, huh? Is There Gas In The Car? Bunny Knutson
You're right, Tom. That's the same wave audio they were using last year when I tuned in to check out the hurricane. Surf.wav <---- CLONK IT!!! Good ears, Tom. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
ITGITC
Thank you, Bunny! I really couldn't tell where they looped it, so I couldn't verify that it was indeed a recording. But it just didn't match up with the waves coming on the beach. When I saw a Beach Patrol vehicle pass by, I thought for sure I would be able to hear it. There have been kids playing volleyball and other people that I should have heard but didn't. Thanks for taking the time to figure this out! My best to YOU, Bunny!
