RG203 Posted June 8, 2004 Share Posted June 8, 2004 Arrrrrhhhhh!!! Some adware has installed itself on my PC. It has really slowed-down my internet browsing and sometimes crashes the system. The name of the adware is ClientMan. It produces annoying pop-ups and redirects search engine results. And it adds advertisement links to web pages. For example, some forum members recently included the words cars, travel and insurance in their posts. ClientMan turns these types of words into links. You click on the link and you are taken to some advertisement page for that product or service. Spybot doesnt seem to remove this adware. Now I have to search Deja.Com to find out how to manually remove this parasite. ClientMan, you suck. (end of rant) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
